About the magistracy department

Admission of specialist doctors to the magistracy at the Bukhara Medical Institute is based on the order of the President of the Republic of  Uzbekistan dated from  June 11, 2013 “On admission to higher educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the academic year 2013/2014” PD-1982 and the order of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Education from July 18 2013 year № 263 “On the organization and conduct of entrance examinations for graduate schools”. The activities of the magistracy department are coordinated with the activities of the masters and residents of the institute. Based on it, in the 2013/2014 academic year, admission to the magistracy in the specialties of Obstetrics and Gynecology, General Surgery, Internal Medicine (Terpia) and Morphology was carried out.

In the 2013-2014 academic year, the department of magistracy was formed and the assistant professor of the faculty and hospital surgery department I. Mirkhodzhaev was appointed as head of this department.

In the 2015-2016 academic year, on the basis of PD-2359, a new specialty - Sports Medicine was opened.

During 2015 - 2017 the head of the Department of Histology and Medical Biology, Associate Professor Davronov Rakhmon Davronovich fruitfully worked as the head of the magistracy department.

In 2015 3 masters, in 2016 18 masters, in 2017 26 masters graduated from the magistracy, 20 of them continued their activities at the institute.

In the 2016-2017 academic year, on the basis of  PD-2534 dated from May 26, 2016, new directions in the magistracy in the specialties of Endocrinology, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology and Cardiology were opened at the Bukhara State Medical Institute. In 2017 all specialties of the master's degree and clinical residency passed certification and accreditation by the GTC under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In the 2017-2018 academic year, on the basis of  PD-2955 dated from May 5, 2017, master's programs in the specialties of Dermatovenerology and Dentistry were opened.

Masters of the Institute Boymurodov Ravshan, Zukhurov Sukhroblar underwent advanced training in foreign universities under the grant program “TEMPUS”. In 2017 graduate students Kadirov Behruzbek, Badriddinova Barno, in 2018 Rizaeva Mehriban, Badriddinova Barnokhon, Kudratova Dilnosa, Zhalolova Nigina, Kadirov Behruzbek reserved a seat at the international scientific-practical conference “Actual problems of modern medicine” at the Samarkand State Medical Institute and received diplomas. In February 2018, the masters of Tosheva Iroda and Oripov Feruza, passed a qualification practice in obstetrics and gynecology at the Sechenov Moscow State Medical Institute. We participated in the fourth Russian practical training conference “Snegirev Readings” and were awarded with certificates. In 2018, the Master in Obstetrics and Gynecology Oripova Feruza participated and passed the regional selection “Uzbekistan Belgisi Krakrak Nishoni”.

The topics of the master's thesis of 45 first-year students were selected, considered together with their supervisors and department heads. All topics of dissertations in 20 specialties were discussed within 3 months by the Problem Commission and approved by the faculty council at the end of December.

1. In the 2018-2019 academic year, testing was conducted in all areas of the master's program at the end of the six-month semester.

2. The conduct of final state certification (NDA) and the defense of the master's thesis are scheduled for June. In the academic year 2018-2019, 20 graduates in 11 specialties graduated, 9 of them on a budget and 11 on a contract basis.

In the 2019-2020 academic year, 59 students were enrolled in 1 course in 22 areas. Of these, 17 on a budget and 42 on a contract basis.

Since January 10, 2020, the magistracy department is headed by Nigora Gafurovna Ashurova, assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology.

In the 2019-2020 academic year, according to the results of the semester, certification is planned for semi-annual results.
